Recently (“recently” being a month ago) one of my friends started a blog, so I decided to start one of my own and finally got around to it today. As this is my first blog and my first post, I suppose I’ll use this first post to describe what exactly we’re getting into here:
First of all, it’s The Procrastinator’s Rant-of-the-Day (right now anyway, I’m very much prone to changing names…) because a) I’m a procrastinator, and b) if you know me, you probably have caught on to the fact that most of my opinions are conveyed in rants. As of right now, I’m also planning on centering my blog around music, television, and video games… but we’ll see how long this actually proves true. Also, I’m bound to get off-topic a lot.
Musically, I’m not really one of those indie “it’s only good if you haven’t heard of it!” people, but I rarely, if ever, listen to the radio and mainstream music… so my music rants will probably have a sort of “off the radar” sort of feel to them, and probably contain outdated reviews and stuff, because it tends to take me a while to actually go out and get a new (or old) album. This will probably be the case for any video game rants too, as I’ll most likely either rant about news or review something you’ve already played a year(s) ago.
And yes, I understand the irony of starting a television blog with roughly a week until most season finales.
Well, that’s about everything I can think of right now… I’ll start regular posts tomorrow and try to post daily or every other day or something, we’ll see what works best. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy whatever this blog turns out to be!

Anyways, I will check up from time to time to make fun of you because I’m angsty because girls suck –especially stoners– and will gladly pounce on the shiniest thing they see. By that I mean, when they see, they are led by others’ eyes (they only value what everyone else expresses a desire for).

Alright, down to serious business. This is a potentially cool blog. It is important that you share your wealth and knowledge (and rants) so that when Amanda becomes president, she can refer back to this and impliment said policies.

Matthew, this is an awesome blog. I love the Office entry- I totally agree. My favorite part of the whole show is Jim and Pam messing with Dwight’s mind. As to whether or not I could use this blog to form policies for a potential presidential election, I’d say that’s doubtful, JP, but thanks for the thought.
